Why we do not publish straight away. This directory carries reviews written by patients about named clinicians. A page that appeared the instant anyone typed a name into a form would be a page we could not stand behind — and the person most harmed by that would be a clinician whose name someone else had used. So we confirm it first. It is the same step every claimed listing in this directory has already been through.
